Meet the Faculty!

What We Offer

Twinkle Toes Performing Arts Company brings the joy of dance to Virginia Beach! Our mission: create a family of dancers within our local community. Unleash your passion for dance and join our classes filled with caring, expert instructors, heartfelt choreography, and a vibrant community of dance families. From ballet to tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics, musical theater, and everything in between, there's a style for every child, every body, and every heart. Join us today and feel the difference of a true dance family!

Family Environment

We are building a family of dancers within our local community. All choreography is family-friendly, with modest costuming and music.

Mrs. Elizabeth Zamer - Owner, Artistic Director, and Instructor

Twinkle Toes has been Mrs. Elizabeth's passion for the last fourteen years, but she has had dance in her bones before she was even born! Graduating summa cum laude from Old Dominion University as the Outstanding Graduate in both dance and biology, she performed professionally with Second Wind Dance Company, dancers and mina estrada, and with Amanda Kinzer throughout the country. Her choreography has been featured in Disney World, New York City, and local choreographers' showcases, and has won numerous regional and national awards. Her favorite role, though, is as a mentor to her darling students.

Personal Training

From recreational to pre-professional, our studio offers classes for all levels of dancers. We personally tailor their training to meet your needs.

Mrs. Kristy Bates (top left) - Instructor: Mrs. Kristy grew up in the Hampton Roads area and has studied ballet, tap, and jazz as a child and at Old Dominion University. We are so lucky to have had her experience, kindness, and empathy at our studio for over 12 years!

Ms. Beverly Moody (top right) - Instructor: Beverly Moody is an independent choreographer based in her hometown of Virginia Beach. Starting dance at the end of middle school, she went to performing arts academy and did various dance competitions and battles throughout high school. Now that she has received her Bachelors of Arts in Dance from Old Dominion University she teaches, choreographs, and remains an active participant in the dance community around her in Hampton Roads.​

Clara Minkewicz (bottom center) - Instructor and Office Assistant: Ms. Clara began her dance career with Twinkle Toes at the age of 13 and has never looked back since. A current student of the Old Dominion University dance program, she holds the Eva May Morris Gregory memorial scholarship and has been part of our family for almost a decade.
